Pillars of Marathoning ‘26

A fall culminating in Sacramento

I adore the marathon and want to support racers preparing this fall by connecting them with experts who will help them make the most of their experience.

Which is why I’ve created this journey through the fall, partnering with R.A.D. Running to learn from experts on the topics that build successful marathoners.

Pillars of Marathoning is a series of 1-hour video calls on Wednesday evenings at 8pm EST that explore the physical, psychological, and emotional elements required to make the most of the Marathon.

Each session is focused on a specific topic needed on race day. Including a guest expert on the topic of the day, personal work time to apply the learnings to your plan, as well as live Q+A to dive deeper into the topic together.

  • Workshop format to help you apply the learnings to your race plan

  • Each session is recorded to review if missed

All sessions hosted by Peter Bromka, 5-time CIM finisher. I first ran CIM in 2016 with a friend. Then faster in 2017, then faster again in 2018, and 2019.

I love this race for all its geekery.

Many racers head to marathons around the world, but the geeky runners who love this game arrive in Folsom at the start of December prepared to give every ounce of themselves to the race.

All sessions of this workshop are interactive - a conversation between experts with time for participants to submit and ask questions.

Each session will also have a “workshop” component, helping every runner apply what they’ve learned to their plan for race day.

Please join us, a group of runner geeks aiming to make the most of our day together!
